Printable Pictionary cards, in the real format
The cards in the box have five words each, one per category, and the die tells you which line to draw. The sheet above reproduces that: every card has a P, O, A, D and AP line, drawn from the same bank the word generator uses, so the cards work with a real board or with the card generator’s die roll. If you would rather play the card-in-a-bowl way, switch the style to One word per card. Choose a theme from the menu (any of the 24 categories or the 10 holiday sets), a difficulty and an audience, press New sheet until the set looks right, then Print. The print layout hides everything except the cards and lays them out 24 to a page with dashed cutting lines.
Tips for printing and playing
- Card stock if you want the cards to last; plain paper is fine for a one-off party.
- Two audiences, two colours. Print a Kids sheet on one colour of paper and an Adults sheet on another, and let mixed tables draw from the pile that suits the drawer.
- Timer. Cards do not come with a clock; keep the generator open on a phone for its 60-second timer, or use the sand timer from the box.
- Themed party. The Christmas, Halloween and Thanksgiving sets each fill several sheets.
- Classroom. One category per sheet keeps a lesson on topic; the word lists show what each category contains before you print.
