Pictionary Words

Good words are hard to draw but easy to guess: hummingbird, lighthouse, sneeze, roller coaster, slip on a banana peel. Bad words are easy to draw but impossible to guess exactly (a bird could be twenty things). The lists here favour the first kind.

Idioms and abstract nouns: déjà vu, the elephant in the room, procrastinate, imposter syndrome, photosynthesis. The idioms list and the hard generator are full of them.

No. Letters, numbers and symbols are against the rules, and so are talking, humming and gestures from the drawer. You may draw a row of dashes to show how many words the answer has, and you may draw a picture of something that sounds like the word.

About four per player per game: a table of eight playing four rounds each uses roughly thirty words. Any single category list here is bigger than that, and the generator’s no-repeat memory means you never have to count.
